The Pacific University baseball team advanced to the final day of the NWC championships with a 12-3 win over Willamette on Friday. The Boxers must beat Willamette once to win the conference tournament, while Willamette must defeat the Boxers twice in order to win.

Pacific came out red hot with 4 extra base hits in the bottom of the 1
st to take a 3-0 lead. The strong inning was highlighted by a
Chase Anderson homerun to lead off the inning. Willamette was able to tie the game in the 5
th inning at 3 before Pacific scored 5 runs in the 6
th inning and 4 runs in the 7
th.

Pacific was led offensively by
Chase Anderson who recorded 3 RBI's,
Jordan Hara who added 2 RBI's and
Brandon Silowka who added 2 RBI's on a pinch hit double. On the mound,
Derek Eubanks,
Davis Koester and
Liam Cammall combined to give up 6 hits while striking out 10.

Pacific will play for the NWC Conference Championship tomorrow with a scheduled first pitch at 12 P.M. in Forest Grove.
