The Pacific University baseball team split a weekend 4-game series at Willamette in Salem.

The Boxers were able to pick up the game one win Saturday 8-5 in 10 innings. Pacific had an early 1-0 lead in the top of the 2
nd when
Tyler Quinn scored on a wild pitch.
Ryan Krout hit a 2 run homerun in the 8
th inning to put the Boxers ahead 5-2. The Bearcats were able to use a 2 run 9
th inning to tie the game at 5 a piece forcing extra innings. The Boxers were able to score 3 runs in the extra inning on two doubles from
Ian Blair and
Jordan Hara. The third run came off the bat of
Isaac Lovings as he recorded an RBI single.

Game two went the way of the Bearcats 5-4 following a walkoff 2 run homerun in the 8
th inning.
Kahi Bisho led the way on the mound giving up 3 runs in 5.1 innings pitched. Offensively,
Tyler Quinn and
Brad Altomare each recorded a double while Quinn also was responsible for 3 RBI's.

Game three was played Sunday with the Boxers winning 10-3. Pacific got out to a fast start with
Jordan Hara recording a sacrifice fly and
Isaac Lovings following him with an RBI single to centerfield. Willamette was able to tie the game at 2-2 in the bottom of the 1
st before the Boxers responded with 8 unanswered runs over the remainder of the game. Pacific was led by
Isaac Lovings who went 4-5 at the plate.
Ryan Krout also had a stellar game at the plate going 3-4 with a walk and 2 RBI's.

Willamette was able to take game four 8-2 after scoring at least one run in every inning of the 7 inning game.
Max Nealon was able to record 2 hits in the game with a single and a double along with a stolen base. The Boxers used 4 different pitchers in the contest.

The Boxers will wrap the 2021 regular season May 8
th and 9
th in a four game series at home against George Fox.
