Boxer Women's Basketball Concludes 2021 Spring Season

The Pacific University women's basketball team concluded the 2021 spring season on Friday with a 77-56 loss at Eastern Oregon.
 
Pacific's defense led the way creating opportunities on the offensive end after forcing 16 turnovers compared to the 11 forced by Eastern. The first quarter was tight and concluded with the Boxers trailing 16-13. Eastern Oregon capitalized on the slow offense for the Boxers in the second quarter, outscoring them 26-9 for the period to lead 42-22. Eastern Oregon would lead the rest of the night with the Boxers getting no closer than 19 points from the lead.
 
Pacific was led by Camy Aguinaldo who had 17 points while contributing 4 steals. Alexis Intong also finished the game in double digits with 10 points while collecting a team high 9 rebounds. The Boxers were able to score 36 of their 56 points in the paint.
 
Pacific concludes the 2021 season with a 5-4 record overall and a 4-2 record in NWC play.
