The Pacific University baseball team defeated the University of Texas-Dallas Saturday evening 4-3 to advance to round 3 of the NCAA Regional in Minnesota. The Boxers are two wins away from winning the regional tournament.

The Boxers offense was hot early producing 3 runs in the first inning off of 4 hits, two being doubles. Pacific's offensive production saw each of the 10 batters get on base at least once.
Jordan Hara led the way for the Boxers going 3-4 with 1 RBI. Joining Hara with multiple hits was first baseman
Ryan Krout and right fielder
Ian Blair who were each responsible for 2 hits in the contest.
Isaac Lovings produced 2 of the 4 RBI's for the Boxers.

Kahi Bisho recorded the win for the Boxers after working 5 innings allowing 2 earned runs on 4 hits.
CJ Coyler took over in relief in the 6
th inning with a 1-inning, 2 hit and 2 strikeout performance. The Boxers closer
Davis Koester was able to record a 3-inning save, striking out 2 Comet hitters while allowing 2 hits and 1 earned run.

Pacific will look to continue their winning ways tomorrow, Sunday, May 30
th in a game against St. Thomas of Minnesota with a scheduled first pitch at 12:30 PST.
