TEMPE, Ariz.- Cassidy Binder (Freshman/Beaverton, Ore.) was named 2021 Division III ITA Rookie of the Year after her standout season as freshman for the Boxer Women's Tennis team. 

Binder was nothing short of dominant in her inaugural season with the Boxers, putting together one of the best individual single-season performances in program history. The freshman posted an outstanding 20-2 overall record in both singles and doubles. Binder was nearly undefeated in singles play, going 10-1 while sweeping the competition.

Teaming up with her sister Sydnie Binder (Junior/Beaverton, Ore.), Binder was 10-1 in doubles competition. The dynamic duo posted one of the best doubles records in Pacific University women's tennis history after their stellar 2021 campaign.
