FOREST GROVE, Ore. – Pacific concluded the 2022 season on Friday evening with a 1-1 draw at George Fox.
The contest was close for all 90 minutes even though the Boxers were outshot on the evening 9-3. Pacific was able to only register one shot on goal which found the back of the net in the 30
th minute from the foot of
Benjamin Martin.

How It Happened
The contest was relatively even through the first 28 minutes will neither side applying pressure to the opponent's defense. Taking advantage of an attacking opportunity, the Boxers were able to force a corner kick that would prove beneficial.
Benjamin Martin was able to find the back of the net on a ball that was played perfectly from
Tyler Wong.
George Fox would provide a counter attack a few times to close the opening half but none of them would prove successful with only one shot on target that was saved by Aderinto.
The Bruins would come out of the half looking to score the equalizer. Multiple scoring attempts would be thwarted by the Boxers until in the 68
th minute when they forced a foul in the penalty box. Jeff Friedman was able to put away the penalty shot to tie the game at one apiece.
With the draw, the Boxers concluded the 2022 season.
