FOREST GROVE, Ore. – Three first-half goals from the visitors allowed Whitman to take all three points on Saturday afternoon as Pacific Women's Soccer still searches for its first Northwest Conference win.
Whitman forward Lindsey Honhart netted a hat trick in less than 30 minutes as her brilliant attacking display propelled the Blues to the 3-0 victory.
Chanyn Santos pulled one back for the hosts in the early minutes of the second half, but it was not enought as the Blues came away with the 3-1 win.

How It Happened
It was fairly even to start the contest until Kayla Gustafson delivered a perfectly weighted ball from deep in Whitman's half to spring Honhart through on goal, and the forward did well to drive her shot into the bottom corner, giving the Blues the opener.
In the 24
th minute, Whitman doubled their lead when a cross bounced around the penalty area and eventually found Honhart waiting at the back post. She promptly tapped it into the back of the net and the visitors found themselves up by two goals.
Just three minutes later, another well-worked attack saw Carolina Gonzalez find some space on the wing before whipping in a cross to Honhart, once again waiting at the back post for her first first-half hat trick.
Pacific started pressing higher up the pitch in the second half and this created a great opportunity for Santos, who curled in a beautiful shot from outside the box to give her team some life. This was the first goal of her career.
What It Means
Pacific falls to 0-3 in NWC play as they search for their first points in the conference standings. Whitman picks up three points and improves to 1-2 in conference play.
