McMINNVILLE, Ore. – Pacific's struggles continued on Sunday afternoon at Linfield as the Boxers suffered a 1-0 defeat.
The Wildcats held the edge in the shot column, recording 17 with nine on target. Pacific held its own with 11 total shots, but only placed two efforts on frame.

How It Happened
Linfield opened the scoring in the 16
th minute through Sid Kosaris, who finished a well-worked attacking move to give his team the early lead.
Pacific nearly equalized just two minutes later when
Camden Wyatt tried his luck.
Nico Allen then nearly netted the equalizer on the ensuing corner kick.
Frustration started to set in during the dying minutes, and
Cooper Sheakley was shown a red card after receiving his second booking. This is the second time the striker has been sent off this season.
Despite a frantic final 10 minutes, the Wildcats managed to hang on and take all three points.
What It Means
Pacific falls to 0-7-1 and 0-4 in NWC play. Linfield improves to 2-1-1 in conference action, lifting themselves into a tie for second in the table, two points behind leaders Willamette.
