Box Score SPOKANE -- Pacific could not cool off a hot Whitworth team Friday night.

The Pirates, riding a four-match winning streak, swept Pacific 3-0 (25-13, 25-18, 25-10) in Northwest Conference action.

Whitworth improved to 9-2 in the NWC with the victory, while the Boxers dropped to 1-10. Pacific suffered its seventh straight loss. 

Mara Murphy recorded 11 kills to lead the Boxers. Kayla Craft had four kills and two blocks. Emily Cheavtharn finished with 14 assists and four digs. Danica Nelson added nine digs. 

Pacific is back in action Saturday on the road against Whitman.
