A red card put an end to Pacific's winning streak as the Boxers fell 1-0 to Whitworth Sunday afternoon.
After
Taite Taniguchi received the card in the 23rd minute on a handball during an obvious goal-scoring opportunity, Whitworth's Emmy Moore cashed in the penalty kick for the only goal of the afternoon.
Playing a woman down, Pacific struggled to keep possession and create goal scoring chances.
The Boxers had three shots on goal in the loss, including two by
Mirella Garcia.

Elle Hamilton recorded four saves to keep Pacific in the match.
