MCMINNVILLE -- Pacific was less than three minutes away from ending its six-match losing streak.

But a successful Linfield penalty kick in the 87th minute handed the Boxers a 1-0 loss Sunday afternoon.

Pacific has three shots on goal from Katelyn Volchok, Catalina Alvarado and Elizabeth Brisson. 

Goalkeeper Elle Hamilton recorded three saves to keep the Boxers in the match.

Pacific has scored just goals in its last seven matches. 

Next, the Boxers (2-9, 1-7) play at Lewis & Clark on Saturday at noon.
