SEGUIN, Tex. – The Pacific University baseball team dropped the final game of a three-game series on Sunday against Texas Lutheran.
The two teams were even in the total number of hits tallied in the contest with 11. Pacific struggled on the defensive end in the game committing three defensive errors.

How It Happened
Texas Lutheran opened up the scoring in the bottom of the first with an RBI double. The other run in the half of the inning was scored on throwing error that turned into an unearned run.
The Boxers were able to scratch across their first run after
Patrick Muskat was able to score following a passed ball with the bases loaded.
In the final inning that
Will Clark worked, he surrendered a homerun to the Bulldogs eighth hitter in the lineup. Clark finished with four innings pitched while allowing three runs with two of them being earned runs.
With TLU leading 3-1
CJ Colyer came to the plate with one out and hit a solo homerun to pull within one run.
The Bulldogs were able to add on four runs in the bottom fifth to take a 7-2 lead.
A Lovings sacrifice fly in the sixth and double in the eighth tightened the Boxer deficit to 7-5. Pacific gave one final effort in the ninth with a Thomas homerun but it was not enough as they fell 7-6 to drop two games in the three game series with Texas Lutheran
