SANTA CRUZ, Calif. -- Pacific allowed a goal early in the first half and then again to start the second in a 2-0 loss to the University of California, Santa Cruz Friday.

Luca Bravo scored in the second minute to give the Banana Slugs a quick 1-0 lead. Adrian Jacobs then put the ball in the back of the net in the 48th minute to complete the scoring.

Pacific senior Conor Barres recorded the Boxers only shot on goal. 

Goalkeepers Zach Aderinto (4) and Keolakupono Mataele (2) combined for six saves.

Pacific's California trip concludes Sunday with a 1 p.m. matchup against California Lutheran.

The Boxers then open Northwest Conference play Saturday, Sept 16 at George Fox.
