But Whitman tied the match with only three seconds remaining in the first half and then scored the winning goal with just 7:20 left in the game to defeat the Boxers 2-1 Sunday afternoon at Hanson Stadium.
Gwendolyn Saing had two shots on goal for Pacific in the loss, the Boxers eighth straight.
