Behind the serving of sophomore
Emma Velchek, Pacific went on a 13-0 run in the first set to erase a slow start.
But it was Puget Sound who had the last laugh, finishing the set on a 6-0 run to come from behind to win 25-23 and then roll to a 3-0 Northwest Conference victory.
After winning the second set 25-15, the Loggers took a 12-11 lead in the third set and held on for a 25-22 victory.
Velchek finished with a career-high six aces to go with 11 kills and 10 digs.
Mara Murphy had 11 kills and seven digs.
Danica Nelson recorded 12 digs.
The loss was the third straight for the Boxers.
