Zach Aderinto were voted the Boxer Club Student-Athletes of the Month for October.
Murphy broke Pacific volleyball's career kills record (1,082) on Oct. 12 in a 3-1 win at Lewis & Clark. The senior had 127 kills and 62 digs in eight October matches.
For the Pacific men's soccer team, Aderinto had 27 saves and allowed just six goals in seven October matches. The senior recorded three straight shutouts in wins over Lewis & Clark, Whitworth and Whitman.
The Boxer Club is an organization formed to support the student-athletes and mission of the Pacific University Athletic Department. Boxer Club members have an active support in supporting student-athlete successes. Membership base includes alumni, friends, faculty, staff and friends of the University's athletic program.
Money raised by the Boxer Club membership supports a wide variety of programs, projects and special needs. These needs include equipment, supplies and uniforms; regional travel, meals and transportation; part-time assistant coaches; scoreboards & other major equipment needs; recruiting costs; and other department-wide needs.
