TACOMA, Wash. -- Pacific again showed it can go toe to toe with any volleyball team in the Northwest Conference, at least for a set.
The Boxers had two shots at set point before falling 29-27 in the second. Puget Sound then won the third set 25-15 to sweep Pacific 3-0 Friday night.
The Boxers led 12-11 in the first set before the Loggers answered with a 4-0 run and never trailed again.
Pacific senior
Mara Murphy had a double-double of 13 kills and 12 digs to go along with four aces. Senior Sarah Hom recorded 14 assists.
The Boxers dropped to 3-10 in the Northwest Conference while Puget Sound improved to 11-2.
