TACOMA, Wash. -- Pacific freshman Lilia Fiorda scored her first career goal to tie Pacific Lutheran in the 66th minute.
But the Lutes answered with a go-ahead goal in the 77th minute to edge the Boxers 2-1 Saturday afternoon.
Pacific Lutheran struck quickly, scoring in the third minute to take a 1-0 lead before Fiorda tied the match on an assist from
Mirella Garcia.
After a scoreless streak earlier in the season, the Boxers have now scored at least one goal in five straight matches dating back to Oct. 12.
Pacific has lost 16 straight against the Lutes with the last winning coming in 2015 in Forest Grove.
The Boxers dropped to 2-10-1 in the Northwest Conference while Pacific Lutheran improved to 11-0-2.
