Cassidy Binder voted Northwest Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Year

Cassidy Binder has gone where no other Pacific women's tennis player has been before.
 
The junior was voted the 2024 Northwest Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Year, becoming the first Boxer to receive the honor. 
 
Binder, who was selected NWC Rookie of the Year in 2021 and First Team All-Conference in 2021, 2022 and 2023, finished 7-0 against NWC competition this spring as Pacific's No. 1 singles player.
 
Senior Sydnie Binder, who went 7-0 at No. 2 singles, was also named to the First Team for the fourth straight season. 
 
Cassidy and Sydnie Binder also combined to finish 7-0 at No. 1 doubles to lead Pacific to the Northwest Conference postseason tournament for the first time since 2010.
 
Men
 
Pacific junior Joshua Matabuena represented the Boxers on the All-Northwest Conference Men's Tennis First Team.
 
Freshman Jonathan Nguyen was selected to the Second Team. 
 
The Boxers qualified for the Northwest Conference Tournament for the 13th straight season.
