NEWBERG, Ore. -- The Pacific women's soccer team entered Saturday's matchup with a two-game winning streak against George Fox. But the Boxers could not stretch it to three, losing 2-0 at George Fox in Northwest Conference play.

The Bruins took a quick 1-0 lead, scoring in the 12th minute. George Fox then added a second goal in the 77th minute.

Pacific had four shots on goal from four different players -- Rhyah Jackson, Rylie Goo, Cyd Sugiyama and Chanyn Santos.

Goalkeeper Isabella De La Cruz recorded five saves to keep the Boxers in the match.

Next: Pacific hosts Puget Sound at Hanson Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 2:45 p.m.
