The Pacific men's soccer team celebrated senior day in style.
Behind two second-half goals, the Boxers shut out visiting Puget Sound 2-0 Saturday afternoon at Hanson Stadium for their first win over the Loggers since 2019.
Mason Pyne broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute, finishing off a pass from
Mateo Pirz to put Pacific on the board. Just over five minutes later,
Carter Zeiset added an insurance goal with help from
Camden Wyatt.
Goalkeeper
Kobi Miyamoto anchored a strong defensive showing, making three saves en route to his fourth shutout of the season. Pacific limited the Loggers to just six total shots while producing 12 of their own, including four on target.
With the win, Pacific improved to 4-6-4 in the Northwest Conference.
