SALEM -- The Pacific women's soccer team was less than 5 minutes away from finishing the 2025 season with a Northwest Conference win.
Instead, the Boxers had to settle for a 1-1 tie after Willamette scored the equalizer in the 86th minute.
After a scoreless opening half, the Boxers wasted little time getting on the board early in the second period. In the 47th minute, Rissalyn Hara found the back of the net off an assist from Gwendolyn Saing, giving Pacific a 1-0 advantage.
The Boxers continued to apply pressure throughout the half, outshooting the Bearcats 14-9 and placing eight shots on target before Willamette tied the match late.
Pacific finished the 2025 season 3-5-8 in the Northwest Conference and 4-7-8 overall.
