WALLA WALLA, Wash. -- Pacific fifth-year senior
Cassidy Binder rolled to a 6-2, 6-3 victory to finish undefeated at No. 1 singles.
However, the Boxers could not record any more points, falling 4-1 to No. 1 Whitman Saturday in the finals of the Northwest Conference Women's Tennis Tournament.
After winning 6-0 and 6-1 at 2 and 3 doubles to secure the point, the Blues clinched the conference championship with wins at 4, 3 and 2 singles.Â
Pacific finished runner-up to Whitman for the second straight season.
The Blues advance to the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Tournament.Â
