CALDWELL, Idaho – Thanks to a pitching gem by junior
Isaiah Hirsh, the Pacific baseball team recorded its first win of the 2026 season on Sunday at the College of Idaho.

Hirsh struck out seven batters over seven shutout innings, allowing just two hits and four walks to lead the Boxers to a 9-2 victory.Â

After starting the season 0-6, Pacific struck early on Sunday, scoring three runs in the top of the first inning. The Boxers added two runs in the seventh and four more in the eighth to take a commanding 9-0 lead.

Pacific had 13 hits in the non-conference win.
Benjamin Lewis was 3-for-5 with two runs and an RBI single to left field to score the Boxers first run of the game.

Trevor Kazahaya went 2-for-5 with a double and three RBIs.
Hunter Nishina finished 2-for-3 with a double, two walks and a stolen base.

Next:Â Pacific is scheduled to host the Milwaukee School of Engineering in a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 3 p.m.Â
