STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Pacific football team scored its first touchdown of the season on a 66-yard run by Carson Mullins with 6:21 remaining in the third quarter. But the Boxers are still searching for their first win after falling 48-13 Saturday afternoon at Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
 
The Pointers returned the opening kickoff 95 yards to take a quick 7-0 lead. Wisconsin-Stevens Point led 35-0 before Mullins got Pacific on the scoreboard. The Boxers added a late touchdown when Reagan Nicanor connected with Angelo Marin for a 34-yard score with 1:26 remaining in the game. 
 
Mullins finished with 83 yards on 10 carries. Nicanor completed 6 of 9 passes for 94 yards. 
 
Alex Deuser recorded nine tackles to lead the Boxer defense. Brock Amorin and Noah Narain each had eight tackles. 
 
Next: After a bye week, Pacific will kick off Northwest Conference play on Saturday, Oct. 3 at Whitworth.
