TACOMA, Wash. – Pacific goalkeepers Jaelynn Moo and Madeleine Gomez combined for seven saves Saturday afternoon, but the Pacific Lutheran attack was ultimately too much as the Boxers fell 2-0.
Pacific entered the match on a four-match winning streak and had yet to allow a goal in Northwest Conference play. The Lutes broke through in the 18th minute to take a 1-0 lead before adding an insurance goal in the 75th minute.
Ella Mee, Katelyn Sanders and Rissalyn Hara each had a shot on goal for the Boxers. All three shots came in the first half.
Moo recorded two saves in the first half, while Gomez made a career-high five saves in the second half.
