TACOMA, Wash. – Nico Lomanto converted a penalty kick in the 79th minute to help the Pacific men's soccer team earn a 2-2 draw against Puget Sound on Sunday afternoon.
The Boxers led 1-0 at halftime thanks to a goal by Carter Zeiset in the 40th minute.
Puget Sound tied the match at 1-1 on a penalty kick in the 63rd minute. The Loggers then scored again in the 69th minute to take a 2-1 advantage.
Pacific goalkeeper Kobi Miyamoto recorded three saves. Cole Affolter had three of the Boxers' seven shots on goal.
With the draw, Pacific improved to 1-1-2 in Northwest Conference play.
