WHITTIER, Calif. – Behind two second-half goals, the Pacific women's soccer team defeated Whittier 2-0 on Monday morning.

Tied 0-0 at halftime, Pacific senior
Rissalyn Hara broke through for the Boxers, scoring her first goal of the season on an assist by
Jadyn Ayano in the 46th minute.

Less than two minutes later, Pacific senior
Elizabeth Brisson added an insurance goal on an assist from Hara to give the Boxers a 2-0 advantage.

At goalkeeper, junior
Jaelynn Moo and freshman
Madeleine Gomez combined for the shutout. Moo had one save in the first half and Gomez recorded four saves in the second.Â

The Boxers finished with 10 shots on goal as Pacific improved to 2-1 on the young season.
