2012-13: Finished with a 15-11 record at 141 pounds…Amassed a 10-5 record in dual matches…Started season late once again after completing competition for the Pacific cross country team…Won three of four matches at the Wartburg Desert Duals, including pins of Loras’ Trent Lyons and Baker’s Paxon Fowloer…Advanced to the consolation quarterfinals at the North Country Open on 2/2/13…Also advanced to the consolation quarterfinals at the NCAA West Regional.
 
2011-12: Finished with a 16-14 record with matches at 141 and 149 pounds…Finished tied with Jared Bridgewater for the most dual meet wins with seven and led the team with seven wins by fall…Placed sixth at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional in the 141-pound class…Finished fifth in the 141-pound bracket at the Boxer Open on 1/28/12…Earned the 9-3 decision win his first collegiate match over Riley Berry of Great Falls at the Spokane Open on 11/20/11…Won first two matches at the Great Lakes Regional, including a third round pin of James Wolwor of St. John’s (Minn.).
 
High School: Wrestled for Troy Thain at Craig High School…Was a four-time regional champion and own Craig’s career wins record…2010-11: Alaska 3A state champion at 135 pounds…An 8-0 major decision in the final was the closest match he had in state meet…2009-10: Finished fourth at Alaska state championship…2008-09: Finished third at Alaska state tournament…2007-08: Finished second at Alaska state championship…Also competed in varsity cross country, basketball and baseball…Was a two-time all-conference selection in basketball at point guard.
 
Personal: Son of Brant & Kim Baxter…Exercise science major and biology minor…His father wrestled at Humboldt State…Chose Pacific because it has all of the academic programs he wanted plus the opportunity to participate in wrestling and cross country…Favorite Book: The Foundation trilogy (Isaac Asimov)…Favorite TV Show: South Park…Favorite Quote: Intensity is not for everyone but neither is success (J.
