The Pacific University volleyball program is offering a series of camps/clinics/lessons this spring and summer designed to help volleyball players of all ages and abilities develop skills to realize their potential.

Pacific University consent form * This form must be turned in prior to the start of the clinics and/or camp.

ADVANCED SKILLS CLINICS I, July 17-18
ADVANCED SKILLS CLINICS II, July 25-26

We offering two Advanced Skills Positional Clinics this summer on separate sets of dates. Designed and recommended for players entering grades 9 and up with (but not required) high school, club and/or collegiate experience. A two-day, skills-specific clinic with an overnight stay, admissions presentation, campus tours and airport pick-up drop-off options (call or email for details). Prices covers both days.

Passing/Defense Clinic

Extensive work with passing and serve/receive
Backcourt defensive skills and emergency moves
This clinic is designed for all defensive specialists, liberos, setters, and hitters that play all six rotations (or want to)

Extensive work with footwork and hand/body position.
High repetitions with all sets, including advanced sets.

Hitter Clinic

Detailed and proper instruction of correct footwork and arm swing
High repetitions hitting all sets, including advanced sets.

Fees

ASC I & II are the same events, and are offered because of date conflicts with many players. Clinics are over two days, and are intended for small group instruction/drills. Limited enrollment. Sign-up early to reserve your spot.
Advanced Skills Positional Clinics: $85. for one clinic (both days) or $150. for two clinic sessions (both days). A Pacific University volleyball t-shirt is included with all sessions (one per attendee)

YOUTH VOLLEYBALL CAMP, July 15-July 17

July 15-17: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Designed for all players entering grades 1-7. Introduction to volleyball. Emphasizing skills, drills, and games.
* Note: Campers attending these sessions should bring a lunch and a snack.

Fees: $130. for the 3-day, 6 session camp •• UPDATED: 05/14/19

Price Update: Please note that was a discrepancy and error in our earlier announcement and brochure. Last year's cost for this camp was $95. for 14 hours of camp. This summer we will be charging $130. for 18 hours of instruction. This figure reflects a slight increase per hour due to additional expenses. If you have already enrolled, adjustments will be made with an appropriate refund or charge. Thank you for your understanding.

HIGH SCHOOL SKILLS VOLLEYBALL CAMP, July 15-17

July 15-17: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Recommended for all players entering grades 8 and up. A skills-specific, three-day clinic prepping athletes for High School tryouts. Camp includes detailed and advanced instructions on passing/defense, setting, blocking, serving and hitting.

Fees: $150. for the 3-day, 6 session camp •• UPDATED: 05/14/19

FOREST HILLS LUTHERAN CHRISTIAN SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL CAMP, August 5-9

Annual volleyball camp taught by Pacific University coaching staff with current and former Boxer players. This administered and hosted by Forest Hills Lutheran Christian School.

PRIVATE/SMALL GROUP LESSONS
By Arrangement Only

Individual "Private" and Small Group Lessons for athletes of all ages, and levels of experience and competition. Basic to advanced skills, systems and strategies instruction can be taught. Position specific training is available. Youth, adult league and boy's/men's players are also encouraged to participate.

Cost: $40 per hour for individual. For Small Group - fee negotiable depending on number of participants and hours. Arrangements for multiple lessons and times/hours can be made.

ABOUT THE CAMP DIRECTOR:
Coach Kip Yoshimura is the current Head Coach at NCAA Division III Pacific University. Prior to Pacific, Yoshimura was Head Coach at NCAA Division I Gonzaga University and NAIA Lewis-Clark State College. He has also been an assistant at Vanguard University, UC Davis, Weber State University and was a part of the 1989 NCAA Division I National Championship Long Beach State team.

Kip has been selected six times as NAIA Region Coach of the Year and was inducted in Lewis-Clark State Hall of Fame in 2017. During his career his teams have produced 16 All-American, 27 All-Region, 56 All-Conference, and 21 Scholar Athlete selections.
