Mike Gange

Mike Gange joined the Pacific baseball program ahead of the 2016-17 academic year and will serve as an assistant coach, infield coach, junior varsity head coach and recruiting coordinator.

Gange came to Pacific from the University of Washington, where he served as a graduate assistant for the Huskies. Gange worked closely with the baseball coaching staff and director of baseball operations as the Huskies advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2016.
 
In addition to his time in Seattle, Gange has served as the head coach of the Bellingham Bells of the West Coast League, a summer collegiate wood bat league, since the summer of 2014. With the Bells, Gange has built rosters, run the Bells’ offense and managed road and travel duties.
 
Gange and the Bells won the WCL title in 2014.
 
Pacific alum Walker Olis, now in the Florida Marlins organization, was a member of the Bellingham Bells during his summers in college.
 
Gange played collegiate baseball at Everett Community College and at Western Oregon University. At Everett CC, Gange was a two-time First Team North region selection at second base.
 
At Western Oregon, Gange helped the Wolves win a pair of Great Northwest Athletic Conference titles and a trip to the NCAA Tournament.
 
A native of Marysville, Wash., Gange has also served as a youth baseball coach and in 2013 was an associate scout for the Baltimore Orioles.
