Scott Dalrymple

Scott Dalrymple is in his third year as a member of the Pacific University baseball staff.
 
Dalrymple’s background includes working with hitters and catchers, which he currently also instructs with Athletes In Motion, based in his hometown of Beaverton.
 
Dalrymple enjoyed a playing career as a catcher, shortstop and outfielder that allowed him to play three seasons of professional baseball. He played one season in Australia and two years in the midwest with the Frontier League, North American League and the American Association.
 
As a collegian, Dalrymple played two seasons at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado, where he hit .360 and .342 for the Plainsmen. He then transferred to Oklahoma City, where he played on two Stars teams in 2010 and 2011 that went 50-16 and 47-12 respectively. Dalrymple hit .290 and .328 for those OCU teams that both qualified for the NAIA College World Series.
 
Dalrymple graduated from Oklahoma City in 2012 with a degree in science and business accounting. He prepped at Southridge High School where he was a prep standout in baseball, soccer and wrestling.
