  • Title
    Defensive Line Coach

Nic Brockhoff became a member of the Boxer football coaching staff in 2025, bringing with him a decade of experience in collegiate athletics.

Prior to joining the Boxers, Brockhoff spent 10 seasons at George Fox University, where he served as the Bruins’ Defensive Line Coach and Strength & Conditioning Coordinator. During his tenure, he developed an impressive track record, coaching four First Team All-Northwest Conference (All-NWC) and eleven Second Team All-NWC defensive linemen. His athletes included two players who recorded 9.5 or more sacks in a single season and amassed 17+ career sacks, three players who registered at least two career blocked kicks, and one standout who garnered interest from over 20 NFL teams in 2019.

Brockhoff values the strong relationships he has built throughout his coaching career—both with players and fellow coaches. He remains closely connected to many of his former athletes and has celebrated milestones in their lives, including attending numerous weddings. “Football is a small part of life,” he reflects. “It’s a blessing to help young men grow into adulthood and to witness their development both on and off the field.”

A 2015 graduate of Whitworth University, Brockhoff earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a minor in coaching. He was a four-year member of the Pirates football team and earned All-NWC honors as an inside linebacker during his sophomore season. Over the course of his collegiate career, he started 34 of 40 games, securing a starting role as a freshman and missing only three games due to injury.

Outside of coaching, Brockhoff enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Sarah, and their rescue dog, Frank. His hobbies include camping, hiking, and exploring new places. He holds Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credentials and is deeply passionate about athletic development and personal training for youth, teens, and adults.
