P.J. Minaya
 
Entering into his fourth season as the Boxers' wide receivers coach in 2017 is former Boxer football standout P.J. Minaya. In addition to serving as the wide receivers coach, he also serves as the team's video coordinator. 
 
An honorable mention All-Northwest Conference selection as a quarterback in 2012 and 2013, Minaya finished with 3,684 career passing yards and 37 touchdowns.  He set a Pacific single season record with a 64.7 completion percentage and established a then-career record with a 64.3 completion percentage. He set Pacific single game records with 442 passing yards and 454 yards of total offense against Lewis & Clark and set another with 32 pass completions against Pacific Lutheran.
 
A native of Wahiawa, Hawaii, Minaya played his prep football at Pac-Five, which is a combination of the small private schools on Oahu where he was a two-time Hawaii all-state and All-Interscholastic League of Honolulu selection.  He set the Hawaii state record in 2009 by throwing eight touchdown passes in a single game.
 
Minaya graduated from Pacific in 2014 with a degree in psychology.
