Sean Bangs

A part of the restart of the Pacific football program from its 2010 beginnings, Sean Bangs moves from the field to the sidelines for his first season as a defensive assistant coach.
 
Bangs was a regular player at defensive lineman all four years and started each of the last three seasons.  A Second Team All-Northwest Conference selection as a senior, Bangs led the Boxers with 11.5 tackles for loss and finished second in the NWC with eight sacks.  His 42 total tackles was fifth best for Pacific.  Bangs’ posted a season-high seven tackles against Menlo on Sept. 21.
 
As a junior, Bangs finished third on the team with two sacks and fourth with 3.5 tackles for loss.
 
Bangs played his prep football at Sunset High School and earned All-Metro League selection on both sides of the ball in 2009.
 
A native of Portland, Bangs graduated from Pacific in 2014 with a degree in history.
