• A four-year letterwinner in high school, where he averaged 14 points and 3 assists per game
• Also earned three letters in football
• Named to All-USA Boys Basketball Team
• Selected as the Interscholastic League of Hawaii (ILH) Conference Player of the Year
• Picked up All-State honors as senior, ranking as one of the state's top players.
• Named to the IOLANI Classic All-Tournament Team, which is one of the nation's top prep tournaments
• Led the state in 3-point field goals made (83) and 3-point field goal percentage (48%)
• Top free throw shooter in the ILH with a 95.5% clip
• Designated as Team Captain as a senior.
