Doug Hixson continues his time as the Pacific golf program's swing coach, in conjunction with his role as the PGA Golf Professional and General Manager at Quail Valley Golf Course in Banks, Ore.

Hixson has had a successful career as a player and teacher, having qualified to play in the 1992 PGA Championship and playing several times at the National Club Professional Championship. Hixson was the 1996 Northwest Open Champion.

Hixson is a multiple-time honoree as one of Oregon's Top Five Instructors, as listed by Golf Digest Magazine.
