Jasem Jaihouni is in his sixth season with the Pacific men's soccer program, and his third with former Boxer teammate and current Head Coach, Brandon Porter. He also currently works as a data engineer at Nike. 

Jaihouni returned to his alma mater to start his college coaching experience bringing some coaching experience at the high school and club level with him upon his return to Pacific. He served as coach with Crossfire Oregon a club team and worked as a coach at Lincoln high school in Portland, also along with working at Upper90 skills a soccer center in Tualatin, OR that focus on soccer skill training 

As a four-year standout for the Boxers from 2007-10, Jaihouni earned All-Northwest Conference First Team honors in the midfield as a senior, after earning an Honorable Mention as a junior. In 2010 he helped Pacific win a Northwest Conference title and participate in the NCAA Division III Championships. Jaihouni scored 16 career goals and dished out 18 assists in his career, playing in 73 games with 54 starts including his final 39 games his junior and senior years. Half of his goals came in his junior season as he had eight goals and five assists, while his senior year his 10 assists ranked 23rd nationally. 

After playing at Pacific he had a brief stint with the Portland Timbers U23 team before traveling overseas to Iran to pursue playing professionally. He started his professional career with a Damash reserve team and was invited to train with the youth national team. After recovering from a leg injury he played for Foolad Yazd in 2012 in the Azadegan League, in the Iranian first division. He also played for Esteghlal of the Premiere League, playing on their reserve team. 

Jaihouni resides in his hometown Portland with his wife Gracie and son Reza.  Jaihouni graduated from Pacific with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
