Jory Shene is in his first season as the women's soccer program's goalkeeper coach. A high school math teacher at Glencoe High School, he brings over a decade of coaching and playing experience to the team. Shene returns to his alma mater after a successful high school coaching career, where he served as head coach for both boys' and girls' teams. During his time at Molalla and McMinnville high schools, he won multiple league titles and led Molalla to a State Championship, earning him State Coach of the Year honors. As a student-athlete, Shene was a four-year starter and decorated goalkeeper for the Pacific men’s soccer team from 2003-2006. He still holds school records for career saves and saves per game and was twice named to the National D3 Team of the Week. After his collegiate career, Shene played professionally for two years with the USL/PDL team Cascade Surge. A 2007 graduate of Pacific University with a degree in Business Management, Shene also holds a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Phoenix. He resides in Cornelius with his wife, Rikki, and their four children.
