David Hepburn is in his first year as an assistant coach with the Pacific track and field program. During the 2015 season, Hepburn will concentrate his work with the Boxers’ jumpers.
Hepburn previously worked four seasons as an assistant coach at San Diego State, where he worked with the Aztecs’ jumpers and throwers. Prior to his work in San Diego, Hepburn served as an assistant at his alma mater, Creswell (Ore.) High School.
A 2000 graduate of Oregon with a degree in economics, Hepburn trained for the decathlon with the Ducks’ track and field squad from 1994 to 1995. A year prior, in 1993, he finished first in the decathlon at the USATF Oregon Association meet.
