Andrew Ysais

Andrew Ysais enters his second season as the Boxers' pitching coach in 2018.

Ysais has over a decade of experience coaching softball and most recently served as the pitching coach at the University of Antelope Valley. At Antelope Valley, Ysais worked with pitchers and catchers, while also handling recruiting and development of scouting reports.
 
In addition to his time at Antelope Valley, Ysais worked as the pitching coach at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Arizona.
 
Ysais has additional coaching experiences with instructional camps and within club softball, while also running a his mobile academy – the Ysais Academy. With the Ysais Academy, he has helped pitching students earn scholarships at all three levels of NCAA competition.
 
On the field, Ysais served as a starting pitcher for the 2001 United States Junior Olympic Team in Sydney, Australia and was later an all-tournament team selection at the 2014 ASA Men's A/B National Tournament.
