Nikki Franchi

Niki Franchi enters into her second season as an assistant with the Boxers softball staff in 2016.
 
Franchi and the rest of the first-year coaching staff helped lead Pacific to 29 wins in 2015, the second highest total in school history.

Franchi spent the three previous seasons coaching at her alma mater, Willamette University.
 
Prior to joining the coaching staff at Willamette, Franchi was a two-time All-American for the Bearcats. At Willamette, Franchi set school records with a .518 batting average, 10 home runs, and 45 runs batted in. She also set records in the pitching circle with a 19-win season and 203 strikeouts.

On her career, Franchi left with school records at the plate and in the circle with a .423 batting average, 18 home runs, 112 RBI, 50 wins and 565 pitching strikeouts.

Franchi was a three-time selection to the All-Northwest Conference First Team, in addition to being named NWC Player of the Year in 2008. A three-time all-region selection, Franchi was named Third Team NCAA Division III All-American in 2009 and was a First Team All-American in 2008.

A native of Los Gatos, Calif., Franchi graduated from Willamette in 2009 with a degree in sociology, before earning her Master of Arts in Teaching in 2011.
