Susie Krewer enters her seventh season as an assistant coach for the Pacific softball team. She also currently works for Scion Staffing as Regional Director of Recruitment and Senior Recruiter.

She joined Head Coach, Liz Yandall's initial staff and has helped the Boxers amass 100+ wins during her time as an assistant coach, while her first season in the dugout in 2015 saw the team go 29-15 overall and 19-9 in the Northwest Conference. The 29 wins is the second highest total in school history, and the 19 conference victories landed her team a share of second place and a berth in the Northwest Conference tournament.

Prior to arriving at Pacific, Krewer spent two seasons as the head softball coach at Chemeketa Community College in Salem. During her tenure, Krewer succeeded in doubling the team’s overall win percentage and led the Storm to a Top-10 finish at the 2014 NWAACC Tournament, the team’s first appearance in five seasons. Krewer coached one NFCA Junior College All-American and seven NWAACC All-Southern Region players. In addition to her coaching duties, Krewer also worked as Chemeketa’s athletics facilities assistant.

In tandem with her Chemeketa duties, Krewer spent four seasons with the Northwest Buzz ASA program.  She served as the manager for the 16U program and was an assistant coach with the Buzz’s 18U team.

Krewer was a four-year starter on the softball diamond at Willamette University, where she was a teammate of current Pacific head coach Liz Yandall. She spent much of her time at second base, earning All-NWC honors. She played in 131 games in her four seasons as a Bearcat finishing with a career batting average of .279 with 89 hits, 13 doubles, eight home runs and 63 RBI's. Her 21 career sacrifice bunts ranks second all-time in school history.

She earned her bachelor's degree in sociology from Willamette and earned her master's degree in organizational leadership from Colorado State University-Global Campus.Â
