Getting to Know Mekenzie

• Why Pacific?: I love the academics here. The professors really love the material they're teaching, and as a student I love learning.
• What does it mean to be a Boxer: It means to represent my school, community, and family. And to be kind to others, and treat people as how I would want to be treated.

• Most memorable moment in sports as a participant: The first game I played in after my best friend's dad died in. He was one of our coaches and truly helped me become the athlete I am today.

• Favorite thing to do away from sports: Read and play the flute
• Dream as a college student-athlete: My dream is to play four years of competitive softball and make new softball friends.

• Non-athletic talent I would like to have is: to be able to scuba dive professionally.
