Schultz enters her second season as assistant women's basketball coach. She joined the staff in 2012 after graduating from Pacific in May of 2012. Upon graduating from Pacific, Schultz was a four-year member of the basketball team under head coach Sharon Rissmiller.
 
Schultz was an instrumental player for the Boxers, starting all four years. In her senior season, she earned Second Team All-Northwest Conference honors. She led the Boxers and ranked sixth in the NWC in scoring at 13.9 points per game. She ranked second in the conference in three-point shooting (.393) and fifth in free throw percentage (.790). She led the conference in steals (2.63 per game) and ranked second in blocked shots per game (1.2). In her junior season she led the Boxers in scoring with 13.3 points per game.
 
Schultz graduated with a degree in Spanish. A native from Medford, Ore., Schultz played for Tim Karrick at North Medford High School from 2004-2008. She finished as the school’s all-time leading scorer and earned many accolades in her three sports, volleyball, basketball, and tennis.
