Christine Eckstein

Christine Eckstein was named Pacific's head cross country coach in 2024. 

A native Oregonian, Eckstein was most recently at Oregon State (2023-24), where she was an assistant cross country and track and field coach for the Beavers. 

Eckstein began her coaching career in 2013 at Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario, Oregon as has also coached at Mt. Hood Community College (2018-20), Clark College (20-21) and Crook County High School (22-23). 

A graduate of Mountain View High School in Bend, Eckstein was a member of the Cougars 2000 OSAA Class 4A Cross Country State Championship team. 

Competing at Clark College and Community Colleges of Spokane, she was a five-time All-American in cross country and track and field. At Eastern Oregon University, Eckstein was a four-time NAIA National Qualifier and three-time All-Conference. 

In 2018, she was inducted into the Clark College and Community Colleges of Spokane Hall of Fames.

Eckstein won national championships in the 800, 1500 and 4x400 relay at the 2018 Masters Track and Field National Championships.
