Erin Lind was named Pacific's head women's and men's golf coach in 2023.
After graduating from the University of Montana with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminology, Lind spent seven years as a pretrial supervision officer with Missoula Correctional Services.
At 29 years old, Lind decided to make a career change and enroll in the golf management program at College of the Desert, a community college in Palm Desert, California.
As a student, Lind was surprisingly recruited to join the college’s women’s golf team. In 2014, the Roadrunners went undefeated, earning conference, regional and state championships.
In 2017, Lind was recruited again, this time to take over the program as head coach.
At College of the Desert, Lind led the Roadrunners to back-to-back Conference Championships in 2018 and 2019, reaching the state finals in both seasons.
In 2021, the Roadrunners earned a fifth-place finish at the State Championships. From 2017-2021, she led College of the Desert to a 228-56 record and was awarded conference Coach of the Year in 2018 and 2019.
Lind has coached 14 All-Conference selections, two Conference Players of the Year and two CCCAA All-State teams.
Lind is a Ladies Professional Golf Association Class A member and in 2023 was voted 3C2A Women’s Golf Coaches Association President.
