Karolyn Milton is in her fourth year as the head women's rowing coach at Pacific University.

Milton has been building up the rowing program for the last years. The Boxers finished fifth in the Northwest Conference Championships in 2018 and 2019 and reaching the third final of the WIRA Championships in 2019. She as has had two athletes earn All-NWC honors and 11 athletes earn NWC scholar-athlete honors. 

Prior to Pacific, Milton served as the Novice Coach at fellow Northwest Conference member – Lewis & Clark. Milton worked primarily with the women's novice team with a goal of being able to integrate into the varsity squad by the spring season each year. While working with the Novice Team, she was involved in the development of fundamentals and improving fitness levels throughout the year. Milton was also involved in the on campus and off campus recruiting.

Karolyn moved to Lynchburg, VA to start her college coaching career where she was the Novice Men's & Women's coach at Liberty University from fall of 2010 to spring of 2013.  Karolyn helped the young club program grow from about 15 athletes to a squad of 60.  She coached the 2011 Novice Womens 8+ that placed first at MACCCs and the 2012 Lightweight Womens 4+ that won the ACRA Championship.

Milton has also been involved with the Station L Rowing Club in Portland and spent three years as the novice coach for the Liberty University Club Team. 

Before entering the coaching ranks, she was a four-year competitor at NCAA Division III member, University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. Milton was a two-time all-conference competitor and named CRCA First Team All-American as a senior, while being a part of the crew that received a bid to the NCAA championships in 2007 and 2010. 

She earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2010 from the University of Mary Washington.Â
