Kibwe Cuffie is in his fourth year as a member of the women's soccer coaching staff at Pacific.
In 2018, Cuffie and the Pacific women's soccer team recorded a pair of shutout wins over Lewis & Clark and allowed just one goal on six occasions. Goalkeepers Saya Brown and Kali Barber combined to make 130 saves in 20 matches. The 2017 season saw three goalkeepers to make 101 saves and allow a goal or less on five occasions. His efforts saw the Pacific defense in 2016 saw the Boxers record 10 shutouts and allow its fewest goals since the 2011 season.
From 2011-2013, he served as an assistant/goalkeeper coach with the Portland State Vikings. He helped the NCAA Division I women's soccer program win three straight conference titles. In 2013, the Vikings broke records for goals against and shutouts.
Cuffie was the Southridge High School girls head coach in 2014, and was named the Metro League coach of the year. Prior to that he spent three years as the boys varsity head coach at Tigard High School (2008-2010), leading the team to the playoffs all three years. The Tigers were ranked No. 1 in the state in 2010, and he was named the Pacific Conference Coach of the Year.
At the club level he has been at Southside Soccer Club for over 14 years, as girls technical director, PDA program director and as the recreational head coach in addition to coaching classic teams. In his eight years as player development director, the core of seven different state cup winning teams came through the program. He also currently works with Crossfire United Oregon ECNL and the USA Soccer Training Center. Cuffie currently holds a USSF B License.
Cuffie played collegiate soccer at Concordia University (Ore.). As a youth player, he came through the youth ranks at Joe Public, a top Caribbean club in his native Trinidad playing in the U17 and U20 National pool.
