Traci Binder enters her ninth season as the head women's tennis coach at Pacific University.

Binder led Pacific women's tennis to new heights in 2024 when the Boxers finished runner-up at the Northwest Conference Tournament for the first time in program history.

Binder has coached two All-Americans. Cassidy Binder received All-American honors in 2023 and 2024 in singles and doubles. In 2024, Sydnie Binder was named an All-American in doubles.

Sydnie won over 100 matches at Pacific.

Binder came to Pacific from Boise’s Borah High School. She had been the head coach for both the boys and girls team there for the previous four years. She has been a certified tennis instructor for over 20 years and has served as a tennis pro at Crane Creek Country Club and Plantation Country Club in Idaho.

Collegiately, Binder finished her playing career at Boise State (1991-92), where she saw significant action at the number one singles slot for the Broncos as a junior and senior. Prior to that, she played at Cal State Los Angeles (1987-90) where she was ranked 15th in the country (NCAA Division II) while playing #1 for the Golden Eagles.

In high school she was an All-American and Idaho state champion; Binder trained at the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida.

Binder earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Boise State University.
